Biography : John Mayer

Lemme tell you that we've got 2 free days now. HOLIDAY MY FRIENDS!!!

As a good blogger (yea, good blogger), I wanna write something about my favorite thing - or maybe my favorite musician I think. You can see it on the title, I wanna tell you about the smartest musician for me. He's John Mayer. Well, if you think that I know everything about him or something, I'm gonna tell you that firstly I've already searched 'John Mayer' on google and there are lots of sources there - and I read some.

John Clayton Mayer a.k.a John Mayer is a singer-songwriter. For the simple way, you can call him as a musician. I think some of you have already knew him. If you don't, maybe you can ask your parents - perhaps they know. For me, I knew him first from my dad who likes John Mayer a lot. He loved to hear us some of John Mayer songs since I were a little kid. I knew him since a long time ago. My dad has some of his albums, and we love to play his DVD concert in our car. All of our family love him because of his smart taste of music. He's different than the other musician, he loves to be different, and epic, and smart, and one thing I could say about him is that he's AWESOME.

Like I was saying, John Mayer is so smart. He started his career on age 19, and on that age he played a high-class kind of music. If you've already heard some of his old songs like Your Body Is a Wonderland, No Such Thing, My Stupid Mouth, City Love, and other songs from his 1st and 2nd album, I bet you will think that it's impossible for a 19-years-old lad to make music like that. His music is different, and that's why he has released 6 albums until now such as Room for Squares (2001), Heavier Things (2003), Continuum (2006), Battle Studies (2009), Born and Raised (2012), and the last was Paradise Valley (2013). He has also released two DVD Concert, they are Any Given Thursday and Where The Light Is - which I love both of them.

I did realize that I like John Mayer when our family play his DVD Concert titled Where The Light Is in our car over and over again - it happened long time ago, but we still like to play it until now. Where The Light Is is work of art! You're gonna enjoy all of the songs, his playing guitar, and all the music he played for the fans. The songs on his album titled Continuum dominated this concert a lot. Besides, some of the songs on his older album also played by him on this concert. I love the songs he played on this concert better than the original songs such as I'm Gonna Find Another You, Gravity, Stop This Train, Neon, Why Georgia, etc. The way he played the guitar - that was so epic! The other is Any Given Thursday which I've wrote on the older post.

John Mayer has won 7 grammy awards, and he best known as the singer of an old-popular-song titled Your Body Is a Wonderland and Waiting on The World to Change. Maybe you knew him too because of some musicians you like - Taylor Swift and Katy Perry - who has been his ex girlfriend. John also made a band called John Mayer Trio. This band was also played on Where The Light Is Concert. He colaborated with Pino Palladino (as bassist) and Steve Jordan (as drummer). They've released a live album titled Try!

Beside his career on music, John also well known for his charity called "Back To You" fund in 2002. He also love designing and writing someting. What I like about him is that he wears t-shirt on his concert. It doesn't mean that he doesn't appreciate all his fans or something, that is his (different) style - his calm and relax look. It makes me enjoy his songs more. Oh and one thing, it seems that he can't live without his guitar. When he sings, he always plays guitar. He's so cool I know!

John has lots of genres on his music. On his early career, he played pop rock and accoustic genre. And for his 3rd album titled Continuum, he started to change his genre direction into blues. Then for the last two albums - Born and Raised & Paradise Valley - his music changed into country and folk rock, like Americana and Southern Rock genre.

I have lots of John Mayer's favorite songs. I could recommend you some. Such as My Stupid Mouth, 3x5, City Love, Something's Missing, Who Says, Shadow Days, Neon, I'm Gonna Find Another You, Stop This Train, The Heart of Life, Daughters, Dear Marie, I Will Be Found, oh no! I think I will mention all of his songs :3

Okay, I think that's enough for the biography of John Mayer today. I hope you guys were inspired, and can't barely think about him, and start to search on google about him, and then you download his songs, and you love him like the way I do. That's kinda weird (but I hope it works lol).

Thank you for read this, and see you on another post, okay?
God bless you! O:)
