The Writer's Diary : September
Saturday, September 20th 2014
Well, I think you've already forgave me (how could I know?), now I'm gonna write for September. I have lots of things to tell you - of course! I haven't wrote for two months! '-'
Let's start!
During these 2 months, I think you've missed a lot of things about me. Except the exams, assignment, and all the business I had. I have new favorite things!
NEW FAVORITE BAND
Who doesn't know 5 Seconds of Summer? Oh my, I think you all know them!
They are awesome. They are not a kind of handsome lads who play music, but they are so cool! Man, I can't even describe what they really are! They are so insane!
[From left] Michael - Calum - Luke - Ashton |
Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin - they are just so awesome!
Call me out of dated or somethin but yap, I did late knowing them. The first time I knew them is from their hit song titled "She Looks So Perfect", even though when I heard it I didn't know if that was their song. And then, there are a lot of tweets about 5 Seconds of Summer and Amnesia on my twitter. Nah, that was the first time I knew them. I remember the day I heard Amnesia for the first time - on the radio, and that time I was like : "Wait, wait, wait! Is this Amnesia or that kind of thing?". FYI, the radio announcer haven't told us about the title and the singer, but yap, I do love that song for the first time that I heard. The way Michael played the guitar, man, it just so awesome!
Then, the chorus part, I heard the singer (which finally I knew that he was Luke) sang the lyric of the chorus. I heard it so carefully, wanna made it sure that it was really Amnesia. And finally, "I wish that I could wake up with amnesia, and forget about the stupid little things." After that, I'm like : "OMG! This is AMNESIA!!" I remember that, after a while, I finally downloaded that song - Amnesia. And I download the whole album too!
5 SOS when they sang Voodoo Doll on One Mic, One Take |
I listened to Amnesia over and over again cause I think that it was a beautiful-heartbreak-song. I tried to listen the instrument of Amnesia so carefully. In the morning, I listened to the whole album, and Voodoo Doll was my 2nd-5sos'-favorite-song on that time. The 5sos song had been the only songs I heard from my phone for about a week. I also studied how to play the Amnesia's guitar instrument from Youtube (the good news is now I can play it so well). And one day I stalked the 5sos youtube. I love them so much since that day. These Aussies lads got my heart - awesome!
My favorite songs of them are (still) Amnesia, Voodoo Doll, 18, Greenlight, Close As Strangers, Wherever You Are, and still lots. I often pretending to play drum or guitar while I'm singing their songs like crazy on class! On Voodoo Doll, Ash was so awesome when he played the drum!
If I tell you about 5sos, I think it's gonna waste your time, and the last is I suggest you to search their songs, but their genre is more like punk rock. Tbh, I don't like punk rock too much, until they came into my life (?). But believe me, their rock is different from others. They are more more more awesome than others.
NEW FAVORITE LIVE CD/DVD
I'm late, I know. But Any Given Thursday is my favorite now. Even this live CD/DVD has released on 2002, I like this. John Mayer's Any Given Thursday is amazing. I love John's old songs - I love the new ones too. I love all the playlist, I love them. I love it, you guys have to hear it. John sang good songs, and he covered Message In A Bottle by The Police too!
FYI, Any Given Thursday isn't like an album which recorded on the studio or something. This was a live concert, so I don't know what should I call - live CD/DVD or live concert? It's up to you, but well, it sounds really good. This is the young JM, maybe he's about 27 years old. My favorite songs on this concert are 3x5, City Love, and Something's Missing.
Here are the lists of this live DVD :
- "3x5" – 8:05
